जौ जानकारी एक एंड्रॉयड एपलीकेशन है जो किसानों को जौ फसल के बारे में विस्तृत ज्ञान उपलब्ध करवाता है। जौ किसानों तक बड़े पैमाने पर पहुंचने के लिए इस ऐप को हिंदी में बनाया गया है। किसान भाई, इसकी सहायता से अपनी जौ की फसल की भरपूर पैदावार ले सकते हैं। इसमें जौ फसल के विभिन्न पहलुओं जैसे उन्नत प्रजातियां ,फसल प्रबन्धन, रोग एवं कीट प्रबन्धन, जौ प्रयोगशाला सुविधाएँ, उर्वरक एवं खरपतवार प्रबन्धन पर प्रकाश डाला गया है। इस ऐप में न केवल फसल सलाहकार, अक्सर पूछे जाने वाले प्रश्न, जौ के स्वास्थ्य लाभ और घर में इस्तेमाल ,शामिल है , बल्कि बाज़ार में वर्तमान फसल की दर, जौ के उपयोग के लिए वीडियो के साथ वर्तमान मौसम को भी शामिल किया गया है । इस मोबाइल ऐप में विशेषज्ञों से परामर्श और प्रतिक्रिया विकल्पों के माध्यम से किसानों और विशेषज्ञों के बीच वार्तालाप संभव किया गया है।

Jau Jankari is an android application, developed by Indian Institute of Wheat and Barley Research (ICAR-IIWBR). It is developed in Hindi language for the maximum benefit for the farmer community. Farmers can take full advantage of their barley crop using the information provided in this app. It provides information on different aspects of crop production, selection of suitable area specific varieties, seed treatment, use of fertilizer, seed rate, harvesting and storage. This app not only includes crop advisory , frequently asked questions ,barley health benefits & home uses but also the current crop rates in the market, current weather along with videos for Barley uses. Through this app, our Institute (ICAR-IIWBR) provides information and new recommendations of research on mobile phones of the farmers. Interaction between farmers and experts is made possible through Consult Experts and Feedback options of this mobile app.
